Albany, Ore. (Vocus) June 10, 2010

Tec Laboratories, Inc., makers of StaphAseptic® first aid antiseptic and pain relieving gel, today announced national distribution and placement of a commercial video for StaphAseptic scheduled to air during Summer 2010 on major television networks including WE, SOAP, Style, TLC, Food Network, and Lifetime.

The commercial can also be viewed at the StaphAseptic Facebook fan page and on YouTube and kicks off a MRSA awareness building effort leading up to World MRSA Awareness Month in October. StaphAseptic is a lead sponsor for the second year of World MRSA Awareness Day slated for October 2, 2010.

“As we continue our direct efforts to educate the public about MRSA detection and prevention, we are alarmed to hear that simple cuts, scrapes and burns are resulting in more and more cases of this potentially deadly infection,” said Steve Smith, CEO of Tec Laboratories. “Bacterial infections aren’t seasonal and each life they take is one too many, so we are committed to keeping a constant spotlight on caring for wounds before they can result in MRSA or any other infection that becomes a major health crisis.”

Following the recent news that community-acquired MRSA cases among children in the U.S. has increased ten fold in the last decade, the company is reinforcing the importance of wound care among the key steps to avoid MRSA and other bacterial infections.

The common steps for prevention of MRSA, staph, strep and other bacterial infections include:

 Treat and cover wounds
Exclusively using personal items like towels, soap and razors and not sharing
Shower after physical activity
Properly clean personal items including gear and equipment after athletic or other extra-curricular activity
Keep hands clean
Consult a physician for active wounds that are red, swollen, painful or have pus or other drainage

StaphAseptic is available in a 2 oz. for $ 14.99 and 1 oz. tube for $ 7.99. Individual packets can be purchased in 25 count packaging for $ 14,99 and 144 count packaging for $ 49.99. StaphAseptic can be purchased at retailers around the United States or on the Internet. For a complete list of retail outlets visit the website.

Fort Collins, CO (Vocus) April 14, 2009

Embrace Health, Inc. announced today that the Staph and MRSA infection recovery guide book MRSA Secrets Revealed is now available. Antibiotic resistance in bacteria is an ever-growing problem and according to the CDC, the super bug infection MRSA is responsible for more than 19,000 deaths each year. MRSA Secrets Revealed is an informational resource for the prevention and recovery from both MRSA infections and Staph infections. This book is available at the company’s website http://www.Staph-Infection-Resources.com.

MRSA infections, usually pronounced as “mersa”, are a specific type of bacterial Staphylococcus aureus infection, pronounced as “staff infection”. Staph aureus infections, and especially MRSA infections (Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus), are becoming increasingly difficult to treat because of the growing problem of antibiotic resistance. Many bacteria, including Staph aureus, quickly learn how to resist and become immune to antibiotic drugs. Even newer specialized last resort antibiotics are becoming ineffective against new strains of MRSA.

Alternative MRSA treatment methods widely used by European medical doctors are much less vulnerable to the problems of antibiotic resistance and have fewer side effects than antibiotic drugs. Alternative Staph infection treatments also have a long record of safety and efficacy. However, alternative Staph and MRSA treatment methods are not taught in Western medical schools and most doctors therefore do not know about, understand or use these methods for the treatment of MRSA.

According to Michelle Moore, Microbiologist, Staph bacteria researcher and author of the book MRSA Secrets Revealed, “The most common problem people have with Staph and MRSA is recurring infections. The growing inability of mainstream medicine to successfully treat Staph and MRSA is a source frustration, disappointment, fear, and even despair for hundreds of thousands of people suffering from these potentially deadly infections”.

MRSA Secrets Revealed covers traditional treatment methods as well as a comprehensive listing of alternative Staph aureus and MRSA treatment methods. The book provides a background on the major issues surrounding MRSA and Staph infections in laymen’s terms, including the rise of multi-drug resistant infections, commonly called super bugs. The book also presents information on finding integrative medical care, how to work best with doctors, prevention of MRSA and Staph, counteracting antibiotic side effects, and boosting the immune system.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) 2007 Staph aureus and MRSA Surveillance Summary, 32% of people in the U.S. (89.4 million people) are colonized with Staph aureus bacteria. Serious MRSA infections occur in approximately 94,000 persons each year and are associated with 19,000 deaths per year. 86% of MRSA infections are contracted in healthcare settings and 14% are contracted in community settings.

For additional information on Staph infections, MRSA infections and their treatment and prevention, visit the company’s website at http://www.Staph-Infection-Resources.com. MRSA Secrets Revealed and other informational resources on Staph and MRSA are also available from the company’s website.
August 25th, 2007: It’s been a LONG day, but it turned out REALLY well. The crowd was pumped, and everyone seemed to have an amazing time. Everyone I talked to was excited about all the different bands & we got some amazing audio that we ran during the show.

I just wish I could have taken a picture of ZZ Top’s "Director of Security", after I had not one, but TWO run-ins with him. *laugh* The first time was after I got to the show, I was trying to find our production area, and a security guard was "showing me the way". She took me to ZZ Top’s production room, and that was wrong. So this 5’1" guy with a SEVERE case of "Short Guy Syndrome" comes up to me and threatens to "physically throw me out" if I didn’t leave right away.

The second was during ZZ Top’s set. Jeff sent me out to record Billy F Gibbons talking to the crowd. So I stood down by the sound board & held my microphone up & recorded a bit of him trying to pronounce the word "Puyallup". (It’s Pew-al-up). As I’m standing there recording, here comes short guy… Huffing and puffing. He barked at me, "Turn that off. NOW." I turned to him, showed him my station credentials and continued to record. I then turned back and said, "Oh, it’s you again." *laugh* He said that he was going to confiscate my gear, etc… I told him to talk to my boss. We walked to our production area, where he huffed and puffed at Jeff. In the end, we had to delete the audio of Billy talking, but it was funny watching him go apeshit.

Packed Abcess-Close Up!
Staph Infection Abcess that was lanced and packed in the Hospital Emergency Room. Hole was about the size of a large almond with the shell on. Really painful deadening the skin to get it lanced!

Because none of you actually hear what is said in the video. This girl was hospitalized FOR YOU, and pushed him and emptied AND CERTAIN DRAINAGE told him at home, or not release does things with Gause, who was most attentive. Clearly shown in the video, WOW, I just pushed really must have this aspiration and drainage. Not my fault. I am the only cameraman so calm, dammit. She completely recovered within a month or so with out having to be “taken to hospital again,” clearly something is seriously COME, relayed the information. NOTHING to lick spend time talking videos YouTube shit. Stop trying to offer his “medical opinion” because most likely, its only a fool watching videos of pus in the house, with no medical training what so ever.
Video Rating: 5.3

An old video that I downloaded from Youtube seems to have been withdrawn. And how the hell something like this should be taken down. Also, I’m just a guess that it is MRSA. Update: After much digging, I found the original video, apparently it’s a spider bite, but it certainly has more pizazz if we thought it was MRSA.
video rating: 4.5
